01

Scope and who we are

BreezeCleaner is operated by the developer identified on the app's App Store product page (“BreezeCleaner,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy applies to the BreezeCleaner iOS app and this website. It does not replace the separate privacy terms of Apple, Google or other services described below.

Account status

BreezeCleaner does not require you to create an account and does not maintain a user profile containing your name, email address or password.

02

Information we handle

“Collect” below means information transmitted off your device and retained by us or a service provider. Information used only on your device is described separately so you can understand the permissions the app requests.

Photos, videos and selected files

Photo similarity analysis, screenshot classification, media-size measurement and file scanning run on your device. BreezeCleaner does not upload the contents of your photos, videos or imported documents to our servers. Access occurs only after you grant Photos permission or explicitly select items with Apple's file picker.

Purpose: App functionality — finding items you may choose to review or remove.

Device, app and configuration information

Firebase services may receive information such as country code, language, time zone, OS version, app version, bundle identifier, Firebase App ID, SDK version and an app installation identifier.

Purpose: Remote configuration, service operation, compatibility, analytics and fraud prevention.

Usage and advertising data

Firebase Analytics and Google Mobile Ads may process app launches, feature interactions, advertising impressions, clicks, consent choices, IP address, device or advertising identifiers when available, and other advertising interaction data. Availability and use depend on your region, consent choices and iOS tracking permission.

Purpose: Analytics, third-party advertising, advertising measurement and service improvement.

Diagnostics

Firebase Crashlytics may receive crash stack traces, relevant app state, device model, OS information, app version, non-fatal errors and limited breadcrumb events immediately before a crash. We do not intentionally add photo or file contents to crash reports.

Purpose: Detecting crashes, maintaining security, troubleshooting and improving reliability.

Network-test information

Only when you run a speed test, the app contacts Cloudflare endpoints to measure latency, download and upload performance and contacts ipwho.is to obtain public-IP region and internet service provider information. Those services necessarily receive the request's public IP address. Results are shown in the app and are not used by us to build a tracking profile.

Purpose: Providing the network-test feature you request.

Subscription information

Apple processes subscriptions and payment details. BreezeCleaner receives verified StoreKit transaction status, product identifier, entitlement and expiration information needed to unlock Premium. We do not receive your payment-card number.

Purpose: Processing purchases, restoring entitlements and preventing fraud.

We also store settings locally on your device, such as reminder preferences, completed onboarding status, cached remote configuration, ad frequency state and subscription display state.

03

On-device processing and permissions

Photos and videos

Photos permission is used only to scan supported media, calculate file sizes, classify screenshots, compare visual similarity and request deletion of items you select. Deleted library items normally move to Apple's Recently Deleted album, where Apple controls final retention. You may grant limited access instead of full-library access where iOS offers that option.

Files and folders

BreezeCleaner uses Apple's system document picker. It can access only files and folders you explicitly select or import, subject to the access provided by iOS and the storage provider. File content is not sent to our servers.

Notifications, Live Activities and background refresh

Cleaning reminders are scheduled as local notifications. Storage status and shortcuts may appear on the Lock Screen or Dynamic Island through a Live Activity. Their scheduling data and status are kept on the device. Background refresh may update this local status when iOS permits.

Battery, storage and memory information

The app reads system-provided device statistics to display supported battery, storage and memory information. These readings are used for the requested feature and are not uploaded by us as user content.

04

Third parties and disclosure

We disclose information only as needed to provide the app, show advertising, measure performance, process purchases, protect the service, comply with law, or complete a business transfer. We require service providers acting on our behalf to protect personal data consistently with this policy and applicable law. Their independent processing is also governed by their published terms.

We may also disclose information if reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process or enforceable government requests; protect rights, safety and security; investigate fraud or abuse; or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, subject to appropriate notice and protections.

05

Advertising, consent and tracking

The free version uses Google Mobile Ads. Depending on your location and choices, Google may serve personalized or non-personalized ads and may process IP address, advertising data, product interactions, diagnostics and device identifiers. Personalized advertising or cross-app tracking is used only where permitted and, when Apple's rules require it, only after permission through AppTrackingTransparency.

Declining tracking permission does not remove all ads. It prevents access to the iOS advertising identifier for tracking and limits permitted personalization. Contextual or non-personalized advertising may still use information such as IP address, app context, basic device information and fraud-prevention signals.

Change advertising choices

Open BreezeCleaner → Settings → Ad Privacy Choices when that option is available in your region. You can also change tracking permission in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

06

Data retention and deletion

  • On-device information: scan results, settings, reminders and cached configuration remain until replaced, cleared through the relevant feature, or removed when you delete the app, subject to iOS backup behavior.
  • Photo and file content: BreezeCleaner does not retain copies on our servers. Items you delete from Photos are managed through Apple's Recently Deleted process.
  • Network-test results: displayed for the current app experience and not stored by us in a user account. Cloudflare and ipwho.is may retain request logs under their own policies.
  • Analytics, advertising and diagnostics: retained by Google under the applicable service settings and published retention policies, then deleted or de-identified when no longer required for the stated purposes, legal obligations, security or fraud prevention.
  • Purchase records: Apple retains transaction records under its policies. The app retains the entitlement information needed to recognize Premium access.

Because we do not operate user accounts or upload your photo and file content, we normally cannot identify or delete on-device content for you. For data that may be held by us or a processor, submit a request using the contact method below. We may need limited information to verify and complete the request.

07

Your choices and privacy rights

Photos and files

Change Photos access in iOS Settings → Apps → BreezeCleaner → Photos. File access is controlled by your selections in Apple's picker and the relevant file provider.

Notifications and Live Activities

Manage reminders inside the app and change notification or Live Activity permission in iOS Settings.

Advertising consent

Use Ad Privacy Choices in the app where available, and manage ATT permission in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Subscriptions

Manage or cancel through iOS Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Delete local data

Remove selected items through the app, clear applicable reminders, or delete BreezeCleaner to remove its local container, subject to iOS and backup behavior.

Access, deletion or objection

Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, or withdrawal of consent. You may also appeal a response or contact your data-protection authority.

We do not sell personal information for money. Advertising partners may process or “share” certain device and usage information for personalized advertising or measurement where permitted. You can opt out using the choices above. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

08

Security, legal bases and international transfers

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information, including Apple permission controls, on-device processing for user content and encrypted network connections where supported. No security method is guaranteed to be completely secure.

Where a legal basis is required, processing may rely on: performance of the service or purchase you request; your consent for permissions, personalized advertising or tracking; legitimate interests in limited analytics, reliability, security and fraud prevention; and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal.

Service providers may process information in countries other than yours. Where required, transfers are handled using recognized legal safeguards or adequacy mechanisms. Provider policies linked above explain their transfer practices.

09

Children

BreezeCleaner is a general-audience utility and is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum age required by local law. We do not knowingly ask children to provide personal information. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app or a support request, contact us so the matter can be reviewed.

10

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app, service providers, legal requirements or privacy practices change. The revised policy will show a new “Last updated” date. If a change materially affects your rights or how information is used, we will provide additional notice where required.

11

Contact and privacy requests

For privacy questions or requests, contact the BreezeCleaner privacy team. Include “Privacy Request” in the subject and identify the request and country or region that applies. Do not send photo, file or payment-card content.
